Check out the Puketi Kids Club Website! It's our online centre for conservation education and science in the forest. It's got lots of cool features, like a riverwalk online tour and a twilight encounter in Puketi Forest—so you can learn all about Puketi Forest's unique biodiversity. You can even look up words like "biodiversity" in our online glossary of terms. Check it out!

The deterioration of Puketi Forest calls for immediate action — and you can help us spread the word about how to save the forest! Get involved! Help save Puketi Forest.

Here's how you can help:

• Organize a car wash or a bake sale on behalf of the Puketi Forest
• Sponsor a hectare with all of your classmates in a Classroom Sponsorship
• Hike one of the many trails in the forest and see New Zealand's majestic kauri trees up close!
• Tell a friend to visit our website
• Participate in some of the events we've planned, or organize your own field trip and tell us about it!

If you tell us about it, we'll put up photos and information about your project. We'll tell everybody how you helped Puketi Forest. Whether you have a car wash or a bake sale, or if you come up with your own idea — we want to hear about it!

The first step toward conservation is education. The Puketi Kids Club website goes a long way toward supporting the Trust's objective to restore Puketi Forest to a complete, healthy, living forest essential to the spiritual, cultural, historical, economic and social well-being of local communities in Northland. Education and communication will help to maintain the forest in perpetuity for future generations. It will help to promote the understanding of its unique biodiversity and to raise awareness of the plight of the endangered species that inhabit the forest.
